Soul
Right now she runs in a field of lavenderbathed in sunshine she radiates and feeds the earth. She tastes the air, it sustains her and she is intoxicated by it. She hears everything, the flaps of butterfly wings the chirps of birds, and somewhere there is laughter.
She smiles and lays down making snow angels in wildflowers. At home here in the soil, she rests and her pulse aligns with that of the world. You chip away my marble, she said to life. Reveal me, the divine masterpiece.
She closes her eyes in silent reverence bowing from her core. I honor you. And as the wind blows over tree limbs they bend and bow in return.
Just a moment with my soul.
